phpWet is a (yet unfinished) open source content manager written in php.
His goals are a great customizability, speed and little size, in fact the development is done trying to keep the codebase as little as possible.
Due to his plugin structure phpWet can store the content of your website into custom database schemas or even static files, making easy to do a little website in little time exaclty in the way you have in mind, without the bloat of a big cms more suitable for very big websites.

- The current state is heavily unfinished, for now you can only download it by the Sourceforge anonimous cvs, tat may or may not work
- At the moment the only database supported is mysql(the postgresql support was broken some week ago)
- An install interface is still missing so getting it up and running is a nightmare
